Baby Shower Time

                                  



The baby shower went off without a hitch. Aunt Kari was a great event planner with making sure we had fun games to play. We had guess the size of Kasha's belly.

Kari then had everyone guess the candy that is in the diaper...pretty gross but funny at the same time....

  Then we played fill in the blanks for the Nursery Rhymes....some of the older people kicked the youngings butts......

                                                        

                                                        Then Kasha opened her gifts.....

                                                 

                                          

The gift process took close to an hour. It was one of the hottest days in Maine and the one little window air conditioner really didn't do much to help cool it down....but finally she was done getting so many pretty things too many to mention.....we now eat!

I love this face because it resembles Kasha's brother and his expression.

Labor

Kasha started contractions around 10pm on July 29th. We were told to wait until she couldn't talk. By midnight she was there. Once we got to the hospital she was in labor, but we had to wait for her to dialation to be at 4cm. She was at 3. Within the hour she was at 4. This was after 1am. She then had to wait for an epidural and during the time of waiting she had mostly back labor. Though she was in pain she was very calm about it and suffered until it was epidural time.

                                 LOL as you can see it was all good...........Her face says it all............

This is our version of the Virgin Mobile commercial....LMAO!

I couldn't stand not being close to our baby. Living down south without her was horrible.
So we moved back to Maine and now have are whole family under one roof. My mother asked me about the winters I dread so much. For this face it is worth it. Also her Papa has a consulting job in Florida for the next two years. So I can break it up and for once win win!
